⚠️Important Details:
Please arrive 15 minutes early. Players should bring both tennis shoes and spikes for indoor and outdoor work. Any baseball attire is fine. Players will not need to slide, so shorts are acceptable. Full catcher’s gear is not required.
**8U/9U Program Information**
At the 8U/9U age level, we offer two programs:
our Tournament Team and our Futures Training Program.
Both programs participate in the same winter training schedule from January through April, and players are placed in the program that best fits their current skill level and development needs.
Our Tournament Team is typically made up of our highest-level players at this age group, primarily 9-year-olds. These players will participate in winter training and then compete in approximately 6 local tournaments following the completion of the training program.
Our Futures Program participates in the same January through April training schedule but does not participate in tournaments. The focus is on player development, skill improvement, and preparing athletes for future competitive opportunities.
All skill levels are welcome to participate in the Futures Program and do not need to attend tryouts. However, any player interested in being considered for the Tournament Team must attend the tryout.
If you are unsure which program is the best fit, we encourage you to attend the tryout and allow our coaching staff to evaluate your player and recommend the most appropriate placement.

August–September: Dead Period (time off for players & families)
October–December: Indoor Wood Bat League at Bianco’s (Recommended, but optional — flexible for multi-sport athletes). High School players start training.
January–April: Mandatory Practices Begin
